About me
Besides being 'the new one' in a collective called KAMP HORST (formerly known as Antistrot), I love to do things by myself as well. Things such as making big drawings with a tiny pen and collages using old books, strange pictures, (sci-fi / horror) movies and tacky people as an inspiration. These illustrations are mostly commissioned but I might get some strange fascination with space ships and do a series about that just because.
Once a week, I leave my pen and ink behind to be an illustration teacher at the sophomore year of the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. I'm part of a brand new team that consists of illustration heroes Luuk Bode, Darrin Umboh (Dumboh) and Han Hoogerbrugge, which is very cool off course!
When Nanna Koekoek asked me to play some tunes at her party many years ago, the deejaying began. We've been bringing the bass together all over Rotterdam and beyond, and I've been doing that solo as well. Musicwise, there's a fascination for tropical sounds, weird covers, dub, rocksteady, dancehall, hip hop and basically anything that bangs! You can find a few mixes on my soundcloud.
